Terms and Conditions for Sellers

1. No Fees if No Sale

   Important: If your watch does not sell through our platform, you won’t be charged any fees. Listing your watches on our site is completely free. 🆓

2. Listing Process

   🕒 Once you decide to sell your watch on watchvault.ca, our team will contact you to schedule a professional photo session if necessary. Alexandre, our platform manager, who has several years of experience in macro photography, will capture precise, high-quality images of your watch. 📸

   ✨ If you already have professional photos and a detailed description of your watch, you’re encouraged to provide them. However, we offer full support to assist you throughout the listing and selling process. 💼

   🤝 Personalized Support: You will receive assistance at every step, from listing your watch to the final transaction. You can contact our team at any time for advice or help. We aim to respond within a maximum of 12 hours and are available 7 days a week. ⏳

3. Sales Commission

   💰 If your watch sells via our platform, a 10% commission on the final sale price will be charged. This commission covers:

   • Payment processing fees (credit card, transaction fees)
   • Platform service fees (maintenance, marketing, and support)

   There are no additional charges from Watchvault.ca beyond this 10% commission.

4. Shipping Responsibility

   📦 Once the sale is completed, you are responsible for shipping the watch to the buyer. You must ensure the watch is properly packaged and shipped using a traceable and secure delivery service.

   • Custom Packaging Available: For sellers located in Quebec, we offer custom watch boxes designed to securely fit a watch for $2 per box. If a photo session is scheduled, please request your boxes during the appointment. If no photo session is required, contact Alexandre at alex@watchvault.ca to arrange delivery of the boxes before the sale if possible.
   • Shipping Costs: All shipping costs are the seller’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed upon with the buyer.

   🚚 Shipping Advice Service: If you need help with shipping or advice on the best practices, feel free to contact us. With over 10 years of experience selling watches online, we can guide you through your transactions to ensure smooth and secure delivery.

5. Cancellation and Refund

   🛑 In case of sale cancellation or post-sale issues, you are responsible for managing returns and coordinating refunds with the buyer, according to market laws and practices.
   ⚖️ Watchvault.ca does not intervene in disputes between buyers and sellers after the sale, except in cases of fraud or violations of our terms.

6. Authenticity and Guarantee

   📜 As a seller, you guarantee that all watches listed are authentic and match the provided description. You agree to provide any required documentation or authenticity certificates.
   ⚠️ Any violation of this rule may result in penalties, including the removal of listings or permanent suspension of your account.

7. Photo Use Policy

   📷 Sellers are permitted to reuse photos of the watch listed for sale on watchvault.ca for other purposes, but only for that specific watch.
   🚫 Reusing photos of other watches not owned by the seller is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this rule may result in immediate suspension or termination of the seller’s account.

8. Limitation of Liability

   🚫 Watchvault.ca will not be held liable for losses, damages, or delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, carrier service disruptions, or disputes between buyers and sellers.

9. Fraud Prevention

   ❌ Any attempt at fraud, deception, or false representation of watches listed on our platform will result in strict penalties. Watchvault.ca reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate a seller’s account if fraud is suspected.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

🖼️ All content provided by watchvault.ca, including photos and product descriptions, remains the property of the platform. Unauthorized reproduction or use of this content is strictly prohibited without prior consent.

11. Seller’s Responsibility for Accuracy

🔍 The seller guarantees the accuracy of all information provided during the listing of a watch on watchvault.ca. Any false representation or omission may result in immediate suspension of the account and potential legal action.

12. Account Termination

🚨 We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your seller account for any breach of these terms, prolonged inactivity, or any action that we deem harmful to the platform or its users. You will be notified of any violations before action is taken.

13. Changes to Terms

📝 We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. By continuing to use the platform after changes have been made, you agree to these updates.
